Each spring on the occasion of the annual Blue & White Football Game the Penn State Student Radio Alumni Interest Group bestows its “Student Merit Award” on one deserving, typically a graduating senior, who has rendered extraordinary service to student radio and displayed selfless, humble leadership to peers. This tradition began in 2011.
