About

The Penn State Student Radio Alumni Interest Group (SRAIG) was founded by Robert K. Zimmerman in 2005. Mr. Zimmerman, who passed away in 2007, envisioned an alumni group that could unite behind a tri-fold purpose of alumni society, student advocate and financial vehicle for the continued prosperity of independently programmed and operated student radio.

Mission & Vision

Purpose The SRAIG exists to promote a continuing relationship between students and alumni of student radio by providing opportunities for alumni nationwide to give time, money and resources to ensure the continued privilege of independently student operated radio at Penn State. Mission The SRAIG's mission is tri-fold: to stimulate the continued interest in the student radio experience at Penn State among alumni, to provide a means whereby alumni and friends of student radio may join together for personal and professional enrichment and to strategically support and advocate for student operated radio throughout the Penn State family.
